Hello everybody! So sorry we haven't posted a blog in a while...

We haven't had internet. Hmmm, you'd think these crazy Koreans would know our address by now, but no bill= no paying= no internet. Equals no good. :)

Now, as much as we love it here...things can go so wrong all in a day. Just let me climb up to my soap box:

First of all, I think our apartment has mold or some sort of Korean weird something that makes us sick all the time. We're never "quite right". You know how many times a day we say, "Not quite right"???? Anyway. Second, our kitchen is flooding everytime we try to wash dishes. Wow, as if not having a dishwasher wasn't enough to piss ya off. ? Excuse me. :) Did I mention that the parking sucks too? Yeah, we never really have parking places and Koreans are always saying "No farking" haha, yeah...they get confused.

Then, B's car is (oh, how she loves the mustang) acting like a fool... The airconditioner is retarded. I mean, it's hotter than hades out here and the stupid thing doesn't work half/more than half the time. Just got word that it's the fan, hahaahahahahaha...I feel crazy, 'cause in Tucson it was the radiator. :) I love that crap. Poor Coley Moley has a verification this week, which I do not know how to explain-but he's stressed to the max (never shows it, really....he motivates me daily) and we won't get to see each other too much until Friday. AWESOME.

We have such high levels of sulfur in our water, that we pay for...that the environmentalists on base tell us to NEVER EVER DRINK THE WATER OUT OF THE SINK OR SHOWER...we brush our teeth with it daily. Hmmmm, really? Can you tell it's a "I MISS AMERICA RIGHT NOW!!!!" day?

Now, as I said earlier...we really do like it here...we went sea fishing, and B caught so many fish that all the men on the boat were jealous of her fishing skills. And, we went to the shooting range and went skeet shooting! That was fun, we'll definitely do that trip again!

Anyone laughing at me? Better stop. :)

B and I got the opportunity to attend our first military ball here in Korea, which was awesome. For those who don't know...these don't happen very often and are filled with traditions and protocol that make them unique. For instance, we can't eat until the head table eats, you bang your spoon on the table instead of clapping, and if you say/do anything against the "rules" you must get up infront of everyone and proceed to the "Grog." There are two types of Grog bowls, one alcoholic and one non-alky. They are usually made the morning of the ball but no one knows what is in them because a single person is usually responsible for the contents. Cole got to drink three times. Brooklyn was the only wife that got called out for not verbally responding to a toast. It was overrulled by the President of the ball, so she didn't have to partake....I think she was a little sad. Anywho, it was a blast and here are some pics for ya. Love you guys....Enjoy.

We're a little behind with the blog, not that we've had many complaints... :)
Recently, we went to the horse races. We just had a great time, and want to share some of the photos we got on our adventure!

One whole year.

Well, we've been married for a whole year. It's been so exciting, what with all the moving, that we didn't even realize it until a couple weeks before. We took a trip to Seoul, which was really fun! We went to a Korean "broadway" type performance, where Brooklyn got pulled up on stage. Very funny! We also went on a tour to see a huge Palace, where 27 kings from the Jeosan(spelling) dynasty lived. Then, we went to see a Budhist's temple...fun filled! Did some shopping in Itaewon, which is a Korean shopping strip that caters to Americans... Very nice. We had a wonderful dinner at an Italian restaurant, oh man... We stayed at the Dragon Hill Lodge, which is the coolest hotel in Korea! It's at the army base in Yongsan-right outside of downtown Seoul...
No pictures, because our camera is broken. :( We ordered the new battery, and nothing. Soooo.... we're going to try and find out where to send it, we just bought it in Tucson!!! We're so mad. No pictures to document our first anniversary.
Oh, the Reddicks were so kind to make us an AWESOME brownie cake with cream cheese icing for our anniversary...THEY'RE THE BEST! We love them. Gonna miss Anna and Abby when they leave. :(

Oh, holy crap

WOOOHOOOO!!!!!!! Brooklyn flew a plane last night. NIGHT FLIGHT, what in the heck??
Yeah, the plan was to just get a ride, not actually take the controls....B's not even done with ground school!! The instructor just told her to take off, kind of talked her through it......and BAM! Perfect takeoff! Believe it or not, people....
What a rush!
K, we love y'all!!! Hopefully we'll get the camera up and going soon, for pictures flying. In the mean time, B says she's taking the video camera next time. Maybe we'll try and post some videos on here!

New, cool foods...

So, as promised...

These are some of the new foods we've been trying.

Dok bokki, is a spicy "rice cake" type food...it's not like the rice cakes you all are thinking about either, it's not sweet at all...REALLY SPICY, and really tasty. It's good!! (Dok bokki=the bottom pic, reddish color)

Dok, as we understand, means rice... So, if anything has that name in it, it's probably made with rice. Interesting...

Oh, and of course the kimbop. It's wonderful. Tuna is the best. (looks like sushi rolls-middle pic)

We also like mandu...it's so addicting. Can it be good for you??? It's steamed, so that's a start! (top pic)
